Dues & Payment Policies
MFEA annual membership dues are based on assets under management as of March 31 for current members, and as of previous quarter-end for new members. Dues Schedule.
The Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA) operates on a fiscal and membership year of July 1 - June 30 and membership dues are collected on an annual basis and are payable in full by July 1 of each fiscal year. Invoices are provided 30 days in advance. Membership dues are considered past due after 60 days and may result in discontinued benefits and will be assessed a 1% payment penalty. After 90 days, a payment penalty of 2% will be assessed.
A firm with invoices 60 days past due will lose rights to all membership benefits until outstanding balances are paid. Members with invoices outstanding for 90 days or more will be removed from membership and unused dues will not be refunded.
New members pay full annual dues with their membership application. This payment keeps membership current for one calendar year. In the company’s second year of membership, an invoice will be issued for a full year’s dues on the first day of the month they entered into membership.
Meeting & Program Fees
Some MFEA membership meetings and programs, such as Summits, Forums and the STAR Awards, require additional fees. Individuals are invoiced for these fees when they notify the MFEA of participation and have 30 days to submit payment. Representatives from firms with invoices outstanding for more than 90 days will not be allowed to participate in these programs.
